You know, when I look back on it I really shouldn’t be surprised by THAT scene in Seeing Red. Whedon wove this kind of stuff in through all the seasons. And yes, it is good in a way that you give this kind of visibility to it because, the threat of sexual assault is a part of life for many people. But damn, this shit made me uncomfortable watching it, it still makes me vastly uncomfortable now, just looking at this gif set. BtVS has made me incredibly aware of how much rape triggers me. And…ugh. I hate the world sometimes…
